Nepali Months (नेपाली महिनाहरू)
The Bikram Sambat year consists of 12 distinct solar months starting in mid-April with Baisakh and concluding with Chaitra. Month lengths range from 29 to 32 days depending on the Sun's transit through the zodiac (Rashi).
Baisakh
(बैशाख)The first month of the Bikram Sambat calendar year. Begins with Nawa Barsha (Nepali New Year) and heralds the warmth of spring across Nepal.
Jestha
(जेठ)The second month of Bikram Sambat, known for warmer days and anticipation of pre-monsoon agriculture in the hills and plains.
Ashadh
